FolderShare wiped out all Outlook data

I set up FolderShare to sync Outlook 2000 between desktop and laptop.
Desktop was primary. After syncing, desktop data has been replaced by
virtually no data from laptop. Can I recover desktop data? How?

From the backup you made before setting up the FolderShare application.
