follow up flags for accounts

Hi,

We need to allocate accounts to different sales people and the best way I
can see to do this without having to enter each account to mark them (or by
using categories), is to use the follow up flags, denoting a colour for each
sales member, so from a list of accounts, ownership of each is visible.

The theory is OK but I found that the option to set different colour flags
for follow ups does not work. It is there....but "greyed out". i.e. not
active.

Any ideas why this is or if it can be changed?
