Using Outlook 2007 and reading mail in plain text, and the default option to
remove extra lines in plain text messages is checked in e-mail options. When
I open a mail item, I have a line above the "From" field saying "extra line
breaks in this message were removed", and I can't click on a link to
activate it in the browser. As I move the mouse over the link, it doesn't
change from the normal mouse pointer to the hand. If I restore line breaks
by clicking on the line above the From field, then the hand mouse pointer
now shows over a link and I can click on it and have it opened in the web
browser, and I can then remove line breaks and still get the hand and still
open the link. But if I close and reopen the mail item, or go to next or
previous, I have exactly the same problem in them.
If I uncheck the e-mail option to remove extra plain text line breaks, then
the problem doesn't happen. It doesn't happen either way in Outlook 2003.
