Fom PC to Mac and back again

Within our office we use , on . We are creating templates for clients on a PC
in Windows version XP3 and Office 2003. If we open these templates on a Mac
OS Mac OS 10.4.11 using Office Mac Office 2004 11.3.5 all the tab and indent
formatting changes to the point of being unfixable (indent and tab settings
disappear at some indent levels), even on the master slides.

How do we avoid this? We create PC templates as client deliverables, and
also expect them to work on Mac.

If we open in Mac Office 2008 12.1.5 tab settings for indent levels are
okay, but hanging bullet formatting disappears.

Thanks, Beth

Sometimes it's necessary to alter expectations that they may be better aligned
with (less-than-satisfactory) reality. ;-)

Honestly, instead of expecting it to just work, accept that it won't always; if
you need to play to a Mac audience, you really need to get access to a Mac so
you can test the results and tweak them as needed.

Same is true of Mac users playing to a PC crowd.

One thing I noticed in your post that could have a definite bearing: Is your
reference to Office accurate or is "11.3.5" a typo - it should be at 11.5.3
(which would actually bring PPt to 11.5.1).
