Font appearance

lifespan

I am in the process of trying to understand how to use Fireworks (which is
great at allowing creative layout) along with Frontpage for html purposes. I
have noticed that type/fonts don't look as good in Frontpage as they do in
Fireworks. Paltino Linotype, for instance, just doesn't have the same
professional appearance as it does in Fireworks--with or without adjusting
it.

I would just do all my type in Fireworks except that it converts type to
graphics files which then increases file size. I'd like to add most text in
Frontpage, but it must look as good as other layout programs.

Any way around this hurdle?

Fonts used on web pages must be available (installed already) on the user's pc in order to be
seen...

Fireworks is an image editor - so of course it converts text to images....?
