Font change in Contacts Notes only

I have changed my Stationery settings to apply the font I want to use for
email. However, this setting automatically makes me use the same font in the
Notes field of the Contact form, and I don't want that. (For email, I want
something big and legible; for Contact Notes I want something small and
compact.) I don't want to design a custom form for Contacts, because it's a
pain. Is there some easy way to simply change the default font for Contact
Notes?

I believe it's all the same controls for the notes panes of Calendar and
Contacts.

OK, later... I read on these forums that the file NormalEmail.dotx (or .dotm)
controls the format of email. So, I found that file, edited it (in Word) to
my liking, and saved it under the same name, in the same place. (Well, first
I had to give it a new name, then use Explorer to change it to the default.)
But, when I create a new email in Outlook, it doesn't "see" that file -- it
is still using the font that I have selected for Stationery in Outlook
Options. How can I force Outlook to use NormalEmail.dotx as the default?
