font changes when pasting

Hi, I'm using Outlook 2003, and it is my default editor (not Word)
I've set my default fonts everywhere (IE, Word, Outlook) to Verdana 10 pt,
but whenever I paste in text copied from the internet, the text comes in as
Times New Roman 12, which is ugly as heck.

The text that I type is just fine...this ony happens when I paste...even
when pasting text that was NOT Times New Roman 12 in it's original location.

How do I convince Outlook that I REALLY do want all my text to be Verdana 10
pt, and where in the world is this Times New Roman 12 coming from???

Which format are you using for emails? Text, RTF, HTML?
