Font Color changes when I copy-paste (special) a table from Excel to PPT

Our office recently upgraded to XP. Since then whenever I copy a table from excel to PPT and paste special> enhanced metafile the font color always changes to black. Interestingly when a row has a dark background with white font, copy paste into PPT retains the white color of the font, but all the rest of the fonts change to black
We are using PPT 2002
Any suggestions wud be greatly appreciated

Not sure this will do it, but try changing your default printer to a color
printer then reinsert your table.
