Font Color of tasks is getting lost

Hi MSPS Newgroup Reader:

One of the PMsin my organization is trying to color the summary tasks and
milestones tasks lines in Teal and Red colors respectively. However when he
closes the project and opens it up the color changes are lost and it is
restored to original black color. Is there someway te task colors on certain
tasks can be made static.

Please advise.

I-Ali:

Colors are attributes of views, not an attribute of the project plan.
Therefore, when applying font changes, you're applying them to a view. If
you apply them to an Enterprise View, they won't stick unless you have
rights to modify the view and the Enterprise Global is open. If you apply
them to a local view, you must apply the same view the next time you open
the plan or the colors will seem to disappear.
