Font doesn't on Word, but works on PPT

I've installed a new True Type font (Leftist Mono Serif). But when I try to
use it on Word, Wordpad, Publisher or Excel it doesn't work, i. e., on the
Font box it shows that "Leftist Mono Serif" is selected, but the text is
still with the previous font I used. The font only worked well on PowerPoint
and Notepad (when I used it on Notepad, below the example [on the window
where the font is changed, Format>Font] it says "Script: other").

I tried to install the font again, but ir didn't work.

What can I do??

I had the same issue with this lovely Leftist Mono Serif font.

But I used an online tool (freefontconverter.com) to convert it to th
SVG format and, from this SVG file, I converted it back to ttf.

I installed this brand new TTF file font into c:\windows\font ant i
works like a charm
