Font Embedding Tool

I had originally created a website with a special font on my computer, but
realized that other computers had to have the font to be able to view it. I
came across a special program called a Font Embedding Tool. I was wondering
if I used this when publishing my site if other computers could view the
font. I replaced my special font with Comic Sans, which seems to work
everywhere, but the fancy font looks so much better. Would a font embedding
tool help?

It may work.

There are actually a few of these tools available, and some
work for this browser and some work for that. Nothing covers
all of them

If you get it to work; though, the clients will need to
accept the font for it to work. Seeings I don't know you, I
am not going to let you install something on my machine.
Many others will not either

Ues your image editing program to make font gifs of heading etc ... not the
whole text. font embedding is just not a good idea.
