Mac OS X maintains a set of three font folders, two are shared, one private
to each login.
If you want to make a font available to all applications and all users, put
it in /Library/Fonts
Your personal font folder will be in /Users/<your login name>/Library/Fonts
I keep nothing in there, because anything in there can be used only by my
login.
The fonts needed for the system to run are in /System/Library/Fonts. It is
not a good idea to change anything in that folder (and normally, OS X won't
let you!)
If you can't see those folders, set your Finder options to show hidden
files. If you still can't see them, your login is not high enough: you need
to be an administrator on the local machine to play with fonts.
Hope this helps

I checked ~library, system/library, /library, applications, and Documents and
I cannot find that folder. I want to copy a few fonts so that other
applications can use them. Is that possible?? Thanks.
