I have created a lot of fill-in forms in Word 2003 without any problems but I
am having difficulty with Word 2007.
I want to control the font and font size of my Text Form Field. In W2003 I
would select the field, go to the font and select it along with the size and
if it was to be bold, italic, etc. After locking the document I would get
just what I specified when completing the form. Now in W2007 I cannot get my
Text Form Field to have the Arial font. It appears that Arial is selected but
after I lock the document and test it some of my fields have changed to
Calibri. When I unlock the document and check the Text Form Fields the font
is blank.
I am updating a document and I even went to Styles and made sure that the
font for the Normal Style was Arial thinking that the Text Form Field was
picking up the font specified for Normal.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
My suggestion for Microsoft – If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
