I have a presentation that created in PC platform and consists of Microsoft
English font Arial and
Microsoft Chinese font. It displays on my pc computer correctly. However,
when I run the same file on Mac Office 2008 computer the Microsoft Chinese
font
displays ugly. Can someone advise me how to prevent from such issue when
produce this type of presentation.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,

You should install the same font that's on your PC onto your Mac. If
it's not there, you force PowerPoint to pick something close, based upon
its own discretion.

That is a font substitution problem and it happens whenever you create a presentation on one computer and view it on another. You see the presentation looks for fonts that are located on the computer. Fonts are NOT stored with a document or presentation. If it does not find the specified font it substutes another. The the mess up. There is nothing you can do about it except design the text in the chinese font and turn it into a jpg. Then it will appear the same on both a mac and PC.
