Hello,
I hope you can help me with this. I do Powerpoint presentations on a
Windows PC with PPT 2003. Now one of my clients has written me with
the following problem:
"When we receive a presentation from you the font looks ok. However,
if we make some changes to the presentation on a Mac and then send it
to a client (who is using a PC) then the font changes to something
else (Courier or a similar font). However, the problem does not occur
if we receive your presentation on a PC, make some changes on the PC
and then send it off to a client. Would you know why this is happening
and would you have any suggestions about what we can do in order to
rectify it? An easy solution of course would be to only use PCs but
unfortunately our boss does not like PCs and he always uses a Mac."
The font that my client is talking about is "Franklin Gothic". Any
ideas as to why this happens and how to solve it? My guess is that my
client's Mac does not have "Franklin Gothic" installed on it, but I'm
wondering whether installing the font on the Mac would be sufficient
to solve the problem.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Nikolaus
