Font issues in Word 2004

Hi,

I have purchased a font that has worked fine on many packages,
including Fireworks and Excel.

However, when it comes to Word 2004, it appears on the font selection
box, but when I select it, or I apply it nothing happens.

Any idea why this is, or if there is a work around?

I'm curious, which font?

Its a font called "Swis 721 Hebrew BT". Oddly, it works fine if I
define it as a specific style. However, if I just select it from the
drop down list, it doesn't appear. Note that it is not Hebrew
Characters - It is a specific font style in english chars.

I've just looked that font up in Google. I don't know why it should work
correctly in some programs and not others. (If it had been a free font I
would have downloaded it to see what happens but, don't take this
personally, it's not worth $50.)
