Font issues

We use Mac OSX 10.3.9 and 10.4.X on all types of macs.
The problem is we use a corporate font Parralucent (T26) in our
presentations. It a type 1 and works fully ok in office x but not in
2004. What happens is the font seems to fatten when opened in 2004.
The style is correct but not accurate. It shows up perfectly in font
book and office x all installed on the same machine. I have tried
clean install and install of office 2004 with updates in order up to
11.3.4. I have created new accounts standard and Admin. Fonts
converted to open type and truetype does not help. To throw a spanner
in the works some 10.3.9 macs work after upgrading to 10.4 but after
font and system cache clean we are back to square one. Please HELP!!!!

I don't know that I have anything to offer, but it might help
troubleshooting if - on one of the Macs with the problem - you go to
Word>Preferences>Compatibility & click the Font Substitution button. What
happens when you do?

We use the same font and have the same problem, although not in Excel or
Word, only PowerPoint. It is to do with the text rendering in PowerPoint
&/or Mac OS X 10.4.

The Windows TrueType versions seems to work ok, but this is not recognised
in any previously created documents.

I would like to complain to someone about this and get it fixed, but not
sure who and how. Any ideas?

Regards
Craig.
