Font list not alphabetic

Hi, just got a new PC with XP Pro, Office and Visio stuff. In the first time
to use PowerPoint, I noticed that the font list box does not show all the
fonts alphabetically. It starts with Batang, BatangChe, Dotum, DotumChe, ...
The default Arial is somewhere in the middle. I tried other office tools
(Excel, Word and Outlook) and Visio. They all show fonts alphabetically
including Batang, Dotum, etc. (I did not know any of these fonts before, what
are they?)
Also, it seems the check box of Tools->Customize->Options->List Font Names
in Their Font acts in a reverse way. When it is checked, the font list box
shows all actual fonts. When unchecked, the box just lists font names.
Many thanks for help.

I looked at the fonts again. There are actually two sections. The fonts in
the first section are all chinese/korean related (double-byte fonts?), then
followed by Western/Englist fonts in the second section. They are
alphabetically listed in each sections.
(1) why does PowerPoint list fonts differently from other office tools? Is
it normal?
(2) I still do not have clue to the check box of
Tools->Customize->Options->List Font Names acting reversely.
Thanks for help in advance.

On the Formatting toolbar, PPT seems to list the Unicode (and perhaps
double-byte) fonts first. I don't know whether this is deliberate or a bug,
though.

You can use the Format, Font dialog box instead. It doesn't seem to show *any*
Unicode fonts.

I looked. It lists alphabetically. Some fonts like Batang and a few
chinese fonts are still there (I do not know the differences between Unicode
and double-byte fonts).
