Font on webpage changes when viewed on another computer

When I tested my website on another computer, some of the fonts changed and
caused the pages to change in size. I assume that the font I was using
doesn't exist on the other PC, so a default font is used. Is there a way
around this? How can I make sure my webpages will look the same on all
computers?

The user's computer will need the font(s) you use; it is best to stick the
standard ones like times roman or arial etc.
If you want to use a fancy font, make a title/banner in an image editor,
save as jpg or gif, and insert that into the page.

Easiest way is to make sure you're using fonts that would be on most
people's computers - but you don't have any control over what fonts a user
chooses to install on their PC.

There are many factors that influence the way a site displays across the big
range of computer systems available; fonts might be just a drop in the ocean
amongst the huge range of issues, most of which are often discussed on this
group.

Unless everyone in the world has a Standard Operating Environment (same
brand computer, same browser, same OS) you're not likely to get the thing to
look exactlyas you want it.
