Problem with #176, #177, #180, i.e.
degree sign, plus-minus sign, and acute
accent repectively.
With asian language support turned on
the above characters will always revert to
"Arial" font when typed with any other
Font. Even if the text is highlighted and
changed to another font, these characters
will still remain in "Arial" font.
This is giving a serious problems with
hundreds of users who need these
characters to be displayed in their
respective fonts. Word 2002 does not
have this problem as the Language
settings can be changed, but this is not
allowed in Powerpoint 2002.
I have spent the last few days checking
all the web-sites I can on this subject and
have found no references to it.
I hope someone can give me a solution to
it.
