Font problem w/HTML emails.

Greetings, I have a font problem. All HTML emails come in jumbled up.
Almost all the characters have accents and umlauts and crap. If I copy
the information and paste it elsewhere, say in word, it's fine. I can
read it. But I can't read it when it comes in my email. The bold type
is fine, the italic type is fine. But the rest is messed up. Any
suggestions? And it happens with all HTML emails.

Any help to conquer this annoyance is greatly appreciated.

Check the Format menu, Character Set. Try different selections,
starting at the top, and see if one clears things up.

Also, it sounds as if you could have a bad font. Try setting a
different font for HTML in preferences.
