The IE was set at Medium. I changed it to smaller but this did not change
anything.
The computer has been shutting down and blinking. We've gotten an "nv4 disp
display driver has stopped working normally" and we also always get a dialog
box labeled "Microsoft Visual Basic" that says "Compile error in hidden
module: Auto Exec." I've actually found this program in Macros but have
never seen it before...
I don't think I will be able to continue getting your help much longer...it
looks like back to the shop and another hundred bucks or so... Our computer
crashed in August and we tried getting it fixed then but everything has just
gotten worse.
Thanks for trying to help.....I think the strange enlarged font everywhere
is part of a bigger problem. When the computer crashed yesterday I was in
Publisher and had just finished printing something when my brochure went
huge--all pixels--like something is seriously wrong with our computer. Sigh!
I'm afraid we are going to be witnesses to the death of a once great
computer--I'm devastated.....I understand if there is nothing more you can
do.....
Sincerely,
--

After furious head scratching, Melissa Claire asked:
| I have now gone to all the font choices in Outlook and Word and
| everything was on 12 point fonts?????. I changed all Outlooks to 8
| but it didn't change anything. I managed to change (I think) Word's
| Default to 10 which is much better now but can't find a font default
| choice for Outlook....
|
|| I went to Control Panel and Settings and set the enlarged setting to
|| normal which made all the guts of Windows fonts etc. smaller. I've
|| been to Appearance and Font size and changed that to Normal.
|| Neither of these actions has made any changes to my "composing" font.
||
|| If I try to temporarily lower the size while composing an email or
|| letter to 8 as the lowest setting it will not do it. I can enlarge
|| it further but not lower it.
