Font question

I¹ve downloaded a new font onto my system and I get it to show up everywhere
except in Entourage, do I need to do something special to be able to use it
for e-mails?

everywhere except in Entourage, do I need to do something special to be
able to use it for e-mails?

Is this "new font" from a reputable font foundry and in OpenType format
or is it a freebie from a website with thousands for download? In the
Get Info window for the file, does it have a copyright date that's
within the last few years or is it from the last millennium?
