Font setting changes to italic in email reply

Hi, has anyone come across the following problem.....We have a user who is
running outlook 2003. When she replies to an email from one particular
contact the font setting and her signature automatically change to italic.
For everyone else she replies to it stays in standard font. I have tried to
see if there is a settiing somewhere but with no luck. Thanks
