Font size changing unexpectedly in Outlook 2003 / 2007 / XP

the Font size is changing unexpectedly in Outlook when we create new email,
reply or forward, some words withing the body are changing from 12pts to 120,
it happens without following any pattern. I have 10 computers that are
having the same problem. All of them use Word as mail editor and format as
HTML.
Our customer think that we are yelling to them, any help would be much
apreacitted.

Has there been any progress with this problem? My users are currently having
a similar issue where the font in the body of an email changes to 100+pt when
replying or receiving an email while viewing in HTML. it's not the zoom or
the default font size within outlook.
