Font size keeps changing

My company upgraded to Visio 2007. Now whether I edit existing or creat new
org chart, the font keeps changing from 6 pt to 8 pt whenever I edit text.
Frustrating as I have to then change everything back.

Any thoughts why this might be occurring?

The Org Chart shapes have a lot of built in functionality that will overwrite
personal settings. But, in this case, go to menu bar > Organization Chart >
Options. Select the Text tab and adjust to your desired settings. That
should solve the problem.
