Font size of "New Comment" balloon

In Word 2002 is there any way to increase the font size of the text in the
Comments balloon. I like to use balloons but my poor eyesight can't read
the text!

Unfortunately, changing the font size of the "Comment Text" style has no
effect on the font size in the comment balloons.
But you could use the reviewing pane instead (rightmost button on the
reviewing toolbar).

Neglected to confirm in the original post that I had already attempted to
change the font size/type of the Comment Text, that seemed to be the ideal
thing to do, but although it looks as if it will let you, the change has no
effect on the text size in actuality.

Thanks Klaus for that suggestion. I don't really like to use the Reviewing
Pane, however in the Reviewing Pane I CAN change font size and type. But I
notice that although the size doesn't change in the balloon the font type
will. SO, I just changed it to a font type that is larger than the average
10 point font that the balloon allows. So, although I didn't solve my
problem at least I put a fairly good patch on it.

Yes, I posted in a rush and with misgivings, having a ghost of a memory that
that didn't work. <sigh>

Hi Wana

You need to change the font size of the Balloon Text style. (Barmy yes,
but that's just how it works!).

To do that, you will have to display all styles in the Styles and
Formatting pane. And Word's idea of "All Styles" isn't all styles. So,
Format > Styles and Formatting. In the Show box, choose Custom, and then
choose Show All. You'll now be able to see the Balloon Text style shown
in the Styles and Formatting pane, and can modify it from there.

Hope this helps.
