font size of the task Name on Notes Page

Using Project 07...

Question 1 - In task information, you can control the font size on notes.
But when you print the note page, the font size of the task Name is still in
8pt font, making it look very bad unless you leave your notes size to 8pt as
well. How do you change the font size of the task Name as it prints in
notes? The font size for the task name does NOT control the font size that
the task name prints in the notes pages. I want everything printed in task
notes to be 12 pt, and based on my experience, I can only get the task notes
(not task names)
to print at 12 pt.

Question 2 - I find it bizarrely difficult to print what you want, the Task
table, the Gantt chart or the Notes, or any combination of the three. For
example, the only want to print the Gantt chart is by specifying its page
numbers in the print dialog box. Is there a better way to print individual
items?

To answer your questions.
1). Project 2007 has added the task name to the notes page as a
convenience - it is not part of the Notes field. Unfortunately, the font
size of the task name field as it appears on the notes page cannot be
changed even via Format/Font or Format/Text Styles. Why? I don't know.
However, instead of increasing the font size of the notes text, why not
simply scale the page setup so that the notes page prints larger. Then
everything is the same size.

2). Except for the unique notes page, Project prints what is in the
view. To get a task sheet only without the gantt graphic, use the Task
Sheet view. To get the gantt graphic without the tabular data, create a
custom view of the Gantt Chart with only the ID field listed in the view
table. The only way to get the Notes printed separately is printing the
Notes page, although you could also export the Notes field to another
application (e.g. Excel) and print it from there. Be advised though that
the latter requires VBA if your notes are longer than 255 characters or
have line feeds.
