Font size

Any time you seek assistance it's in your best interest to let us know what
version of which program you're using, what version of the OS & what type of
Mac. That way you'll be more likely to get a more prompt, direct & accurate
reply:)... different combinations involve different directions.

Changing font size, however, is rather straightforward - Select the text you
want to change, then use one of the following sources of the Font Size
command:

1- The Formatting toolbar Font Size List - if the toolbar isn't displayed
use View> Toolbars & select Formatting to turn it on,

2- The Font Size List in the Formatting Palette - if it isn't displayed use
the Toolbox button on the Standard toolbar or select it from the View menu
as well,

3- Go to Format> Font & make the change there,

4- Use the keyboard shortcut s of Command+[ (decrease font size) or
Command+] (increase font size).

Other possibilities as well, but that should keep you busy for a while:)

Most common controls for text formatting can be found on the Formatting Palette. Additional formatting controls can be found in the Font dialog.

If you're trying to change the default font for all new, blank documents, you'll need to edit the Normal template (which is where new, blank documents get their settings).

Hi David:

OK, do you have an easy way to display the URL of the application's Help
Topic in your post?

Just asking: It's something we could use in here :)

Cheers

No. What I actually meant was that the Application Help uses the same web
pages as are on the website.

In Win Word, you can look up a topic in the Word Help, click on it, and
retrieve the URI that the Help Engine used to get it from the server.

If you then send that to the end user you are trying to help, when they
click on it, the topic will open in their local help application.

I thought if David had a tool that would retrieve these URIs, it would be
kinda handy in here :)

Cheers
