Font sizes change unexpectedly

I converted a Word document into an InfoPath form using InfoPath 2007. The
Word doc used Comic Sans, so I selected all and changed everything to Verdana
10. At various times, controls will change from font size 10 to 12, even if
I'm not directly changing them. I have to select the individual control and
change the size to 8 to make it look sort of ok.

This is obviously a bug. Does anyone have a workaround?
