I have several documents created in word97. When I open them in
Word2003 (11.5604) the character spacing for the palatino font in a
text box is double. I t l o o k s l i k e t h i s. on the screen
and on the printer.
It is also fine in Word2002.
When I look at the properties, it shows no character spacing is set.
I have so many of these I need to mind a way to make them look correct
when opened.
I was hoping to find a way to force a font substitution to time and
see if that would help.
Any ideas?
thanks, jim
