font style changes in bulleted lists

When trying to create a document in normal style, I apparently picked
up a style code by pasting from another document. Now, when I do a
simple bulleted list, Word automatically changes my font to the style
associated with the copied document. Can anyone tell me how to stop
this?

How are you creating the bulleted list?

Does this happen in all documents or just one?

What is the associated style?
