I use MS Office 2003 on Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Suddenly, certain font
styles are unavailable. For example, "Regular" does not appear on the "Font
style" menu on the Font tab when I try to format a cell in Excel or format a
font in Word (italic, bold, and bold italic styles are all available). For
Lucida Sans, Italic, Demibold Roman, and Demibold Italic are listed in the
"Font style" menu.
This is not happening with some fonts: I've checked Bell MT, Baskerville Old
Face, and Century Gothic, for example, and all of the typical font style
options are available.
What's going on, and how can I correct it?
Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
