Font trouble

John Davies

I'm working on a website for a friend. She reports trouble with this
page:

http://erinburkett.com/upcomingevents.htm

The body text is supposed to be Copperplate Gothic Bold. On every
machine I try it looks OK. On her computer she sees a default font.

I've tried it on about five computers, some are pretty vanilla in
their graphics capabilities. We're both using the newest version of
Firefox, and I've tested under IE.

Please take a look and see if you can see anything wrong.

What browser is she using?

While I can't say for IE, in my version of Firefox (2.0.0.3):

Tools > Options > Content > Fonts & Colors > Advanced > "allow pages
to choose their own fonts instead of my selections above" is checked.

That is not a common/safe web font. If it's not installed on the user's
machine, they won't see it. It will default, normally to Times New Roman.
