fonts are not displaying accurately in some areas

Hi, I'm having a problem with fonts. My logo should be showing up in Vivaldi, however in most spots on my site it is showing up as Times Roman. When I put my site up on my computer it looks exactly how it should, but when I log on with other computers it is inaccurate. Would you please log on and let me know what you think? Thanks, De

The site looks great.
Thing is not all PC's will have the Vivaldi font. If the user doesn't have a
font the browser will substitute. Any font in use online should belong to
the group of 'core fonts', fonts that every one should have. The core fonts
are displayed on the page -
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/default.aspx
When any other font is desired it should be converted to an image. Your logo
for example should be an image. I'd suggest two images, one with the bath
and body tag and one without.
You can create the image on your favorite image editor tool or you can
optionally try and use Pub to create the image - see
http://www.davidbartosik.com/pub2k/pub2k_24.htm (I haven't tested this in
the later versions).

Look thru your images that pub created. That instance is most likely an
image and not textual.

Hi, thanks, I am curious why in some areas it does read Vivaldi, see my
'about us' page, at the bottom of the body text. My logo here in the blue
box shows up in Vivaldi on the computers where it is showing up as Times
Roman everywhere else.

I'm not talking about what you are doing on the document, your 'input'.
I'm speaking of the 'output'. What Publisher generates, it's htm files and
image files.
In this case where the font is unchanged it is probably not text you are
seeing on the page but rather an image that Publisher created. Look thru the
images it generated and you'll find one that is of the text you speak of.
Publisher will convert content to images in some cases which is what the
earlier mentioned article is all about.

This instance was created as text in a text box, it's not a jpeg image, is
that what you are talking about? ~thanks, Deb
