Fonts disappear when in draft mode

I must have recently changed some setting inadvertently, because when
I view my documents in "draft mode" the fonts just don't appear in the
document! I should say, the text remains formatted to the fonts I've
set, which I can see in the font drop-down menu, and if I switch over
to print layout mode. It's just that everything looks like courier in
the doc itself!

Anyone know what might have caused this and how to switch it back?

Have a look in Word> Preferences> View & see if there's a check on Draft
Font... If so, remove it.
