Fonts disappeared in Word v.X

I have Word v.X in OS 10.3.9. Some of my fonts have just disappeared
from my font list - Sand, Textile, and I think quite a few others are
gone. I don't think I've done anything. I tried restarting the
computer, and even reinstalling Word, but they are still missing. Any
clues on why or what to do?

Hi diver,

How do you know they're missing? Because they don't show on Word's
drop-down font menu? Or because they aren't listed in OS X's Font Book
application?

I'm guessing it's the former. Try trashing your Office Font Cache. See
