I have a font family (Brewery) installed in the Library of my user's folder. I can format text in a document using this font, through Format/Font in the main menu. However, the font is not visible under Font in the main menu, nor does it show up in the Formatting Palette. Please advise...

Hello Waldorf -

Unfortunately this seems to be a glitch in the program that hasn't yet been
remedied. I know MacBU is aware of it & is working on a fix, but when it
will arrive isn't certain.

If you want to add your comments on the issue to the mix use Help> Send
Feedback & let them know of your concern... The squeakiest wheel gets the
grease :)

As Bob suggests, this is a bug they're working on.

There is a problem with the handling of font variant names.

There are two work-arounds:

1) Create styles containing the fonts. They still won't show up in the
menu, but that won't matter because they will be in the styles and will
apply to the text.

2) Disable the variants that you do not use. The other variants will then
appear in the menus.

Hope this helps
