Fonts in Office folder

I have seen comments in this group to the effect that Office installs
copies of its fonts twice (at least?): once in the system font folders
and once in the fonts folder in the Office folder.

I have finally got around to trying to bring some order to the chaos
<grin> and would like to know, please, if Office needs these fonts in
both places? Suitcase is reporting duplicates and a find in finder only
turns up two: one I moved to my font collection folder and one in the
Office folder.

So, can I trash the fonts folder iin Office?

Thanks

If you trash the fonts in your user account, I suspect Ofice just uses
the set it has in its folder to copy them over to ~/Library/Fonts...

I zipped the Office fonts folder and trashed it. The problem didn't go
away.

I think it must be a Suitcase problem. A search in finder now only
finds one instance of eg Arial, worse yet a search in Suitcase for Arial
only turns up one instance and "manage duplicates" finds no duplicates!
The duplicate warnings keep on coming however.

Unless you have a flash of inspiration, I'll look in the Suitcase
support areas for the next step.

Thanks Corentin.
