Fonts in Word

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I have imported special fonts for various footers, e.g. Investors in people, Positive about disabled people etc, and they are shown in the font menu, but show on the screen and in print as rectangular boxes. The fonts in question do not appear to be disabled from use and have previously been used in an earlier version of Word. Please advise.

Does this issue you're encountering only occur in footers or are you unable
to use the special fonts anywhere in the document?
