Fonts listed as "installable embedding" but can't be embedded?

I have all these free fonts that I downloaded that are listed (when I use my
font properties button that I downloaded from microsoft) as Installable
Embedding, but when I go into "Tools - Commercial Printing - Fonts" in
Publisher, they are listed as "May not embed". Is there any way to fix this?

Adobe fonts, .otf cannot be embedded.
You cannot embed an Adobe OpenType font in a document in an Office program
