does anyone know how to use a font that you have
downloaded from the internet on microsoft word 2000?

You must install it in the Windows Fonts folder. If it is zipped, you need
to unzip it first. Then open Control Panel | Fonts, select Install New Font
on the File menu, browse to where you stored the font, select it, and click
Install.
