Can anyone tell me how to add fonts to MS Word's drop down menu. I count
over 300 in the fonts folder and adding a few others is easy.

But how to use them?

Thanks in advance.

If they're in the fonts folder then they will be available to any - and
all - applications that can utilise them. Ate they not available to Word?

Fonts are added to Windows (e.g. via Control Panel -> Fonts) and then
applications like Word get access to them. There can be problems if too many
fonts are added.

That doesn't appear to apply to Windows XP, Mike - on my other system I've
at least 4000 installed at any one time with no detriment or problems.

Yes but the OP didn't mention any software versions. If they are going to be
vague, they will have to pick through a greater range of solutions.
