Foolproof safe senders list?

I am running Outllook 2003 in cached mode against an Exchange 2003 server. I
want the option of being able to delete certain incoming messages based on
content without there being ANY chance of a message from someone on my safe
senders list being deleted. This would be SO easy if I could just add
"except if the sender is on my safe senders list" conditionality to the
conditions that warrant a message being deleted. Is there any
trick/workaround that will enable me to have this simple functionality?

The only exception would be or senders in your address book - you'd need to
add all trusted senders to the address book for this to work.

Double entry certainly seems like an inefficient way of handling the simple
problem of exempting your safe senders list from certain rules created via
the rules wizard. Why bother with the safe senders list in the first place
if you can't refrerence it from the wizard, and just make it clear that the
contacts list is your only hope for an airtight safe senders list? How can
you add domains to a list that can be referenced from the rules wizard?

Rules are a poor way to filter spam. Use Junk mail set to high and trust the
safe senders list.

But what if you need an inviolable safe senders list -- mail from whose
members will ALWAYS wind up in the inbox -- AND you need non-spam-filtering
rules (e.g., flagging messages) as well? Is this just not in the cards? The
all-important conditionality that the safe senders list affords simply cannot
be utilized by a rules wizard user?

Then you need their addresses in contacts so you can create an exception to
the rule for people in your address book.
