Footer information

The document path information in the footer doesn't
change when a document is moved to a new location. It is
created with the 'insert, field' option. This used to
work before we moved to XP. Is this a word option that
needs to be changed. We are now using Word 2002.

You may need to update it explicitly. Select the field and press F9.
