I have a Win 2k pro SP 4 user here that has reports that she prints
periodically.
In Word from the Office XP suite she will go to view - header footer, and
use the header footer tool bar that appears to select " insert autotext"
and select "Page X of Y". This inserts page numbering like page 1 of 3, 2 of
3, and 3 of 3. Viewing the document normally and using print preview confirm
the numbering on the bottom of the page is "page 1 of 3" on the first page
and "Page 2 of 3" on the second page and "page 3 of 3" on the third page.
When printing to a HP 8150 the footer page numbering prints out as page 1 of
1 page 2 of 2 and page 3 of 3.
I get the same results printing to a HP 8100, HP LaserJet 5 N, and a Xerox
Phaser 6250N.
Other users printing this same document from different computers to all
above printers, gets the page footer numbering as expected.
What is going on with this computer?
TIA
