On different workstations in the past week, when someone tried to change the
previously defined footer in Word 2003 or 2007 (yes, it happens in both
versions), the pre-defined options on the pull-down menu appear in French on
one person's computer and in Spanish on another person's. We only work in
the English language, and there is no reason or cause why all of a sudden
this should happen. The documents were originally created in English, with a
footer in English, then saved, and when they were opened the next time and
the footer needed to be changed (in order to change the date that was
included in the original footer), the options were in a different language.
What causes this and where can I change the settings?
It would be great if you could respond to me at (e-mail address removed).
Thanks so very much!
