Footer printing

Hi all,

Don't know whether this has been answered or not, so sorry if it has,
but I need some help asap as the doc I'm writing needs to go to the
printer. Simply, I can view the page numbers at the bottom of my doc.
They look lovely in the footer, but as soon as I send to print,
whether inkjet or laser, they come out having been replaced with this
- {page}

How can I stop this and get the page numbers to print properly?

Hi Andrew,

Have you posted this question before?

Anyhow, go to the Prefs dialog, Print tab. I think you will find that
"field codes" is checked under Include with Document. Uncheck it.
