Footer Total Number of Pages - French

Hello,

I have a word document created in Office 2000 in English. In the footer
I have pasted in the formula of Page x of Y hence on page 5 if there
are 10 pages it says Page 5 of 10. If I open the same document in
French office 2000 it shows Page X of X on every page hence it would
show "Page 5 of 5". This is on all computers. thank you for any
suggestions.
