Footer

In microsoft word, installation of the SR3 office update
prevented the clicking to place the filename and path in
the footer, either from the toolbar or the insert menu.
Any suggestions?

Hi Jack,

Hmmm, this is in Word 2000? If you start a new,
blank document and in Print Layout view use
View=> Header and Footers nothing happens?

If you use Start=>Find/Search and delete the files
found with a search string of
*.tmp;~$*.*
before starting Word does that make a difference?
